Our next meeting will be Tuesday, August 5th at Wayman's Church located at 1307 Washington Blvd.  We start at 7:00 pm.  We will be discussing the push for a pool in C. P. and the concert on August 13th 6:30 -8:00 pm in C.P. near Bayard St..   Hope to see you there!  Please note there will be no meeting in September

Next FoCP meeting

There will be no meeting in September.  The next meeting will be October 1. 2013 at Waymam's Church, 1307 Washington Blvd.  We start at 7:00 pm.  Come learn what's going on in Carroll Park!  Like the new Children's Nature Garden!  Grand opening Celebration Friday, October 4th 1-3 and 3-5 pm.  Rain date Oct. 18th.  Magic Show, music and more......

Children's Nature Garden

FoCP has received grant funds from Parks & People and MECU to install and celebrate the Children;s Nature Garden in the playground area of C.P.  We are excited to see so many children playing on the new natural logs and boulders that have been placed there.  Even though the project is not finished, you can see that the kids love it!
